한국의 경우 일반음식점에서 일하기 위해 건강진단결과서를 발급받아 제출하듯이 캐나다 밴쿠버가 속한 브리티시 컬럼비아(BC주)에서는 '주류'를 다루는 음식점에서 일하려면 서빙잇 라이트 자격을 취득해야한다.

아래 사이트에서 Start your online exam 을 클릭해서 결제 후 바로 시험을 응시하면 되고 비용은 35CAD. 세 번까지 재응시할 수 있는 기회가 있고 그 이후 재응시할 때는 35CAD를 추가해야 한다. 제한시간은 없다.
